Biothane* - the alternative to leather anklets. No maintenance, soft, light and strong. We thoroughly tested this product before we offered it for sale. We have our birds fitted with this amazing product from the Kestrel to our female Golden Eagle.
It comes in a choice of colours and widths and there is also a choice of eyelet size. Please make sure you have a closing tool that will close the size of eyelet you want.

We carry 6 different sizes in stock, but we can make others to order. Please contact us to discuss any special requirements. George makes all our anklets and has a range of templates to use when moulding the anklet into the correct circumference and shape.

These anklets are all priced at £6.95 and include sail eyelets.

Please note that unlike leather, Biothane does NOT stretch, therefore you MUST ensure that the anklet is fitted correctly. It must move freely on the bird’s leg without dragging the skin. And like people, bird’s legs can vary in size - one of our falcons took a size 3 on one leg and a size 4 on the other!
If in doubt don’t put on the eyelets and return them to us.
