It will not damage you, your pets or your equipment.

F10®CL

Avian Disinfectant is a concentrated disinfectant which achieves a broad spectrum kill of a wide range of potentially harmful micro-organisms. Whilst highly effective in all situations, it is formulated to be active against those bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores that specifically affect birds. It is an excellent product for achieving a high level of biosecurity effectively and safely. It is completely safe to use in presence of all animals and poses no personal or bio-hazard when used at the recommended concentrations. For best results F10CL Avian disinfectant should be allowed to air dry i.e. do not wash off.

Uses for F10®CL Avian Disinfectant

  • Effective and safe general disinfection of all hard surfaces (such as tables, floors, incubators, brooders, hand rearing equipment and cages)
  • For animal housekeeping procedures (such as the cleaning of food and water bowls and bedding)
  • F10®CL Avian Disinfectant can be sprayed on and left to disinfect after cleaning to provide additional biosecurity
  • Fogging of entire rooms and hard to reach surfaces
  • Fogging of air spaces to eliminate air-borne micro-organisms

Recommended dilution rates of F10®CL Avian Disinfectant

  • General disinfection at 1:100 (10ml in 1 litre)
  • High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses at 1:50 (20ml to 1 litre)
  • For use against the most resistant viruses such as Circovirus (PBFD) at 1:20 (50ml in 1 litre)F10®CLXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser has the same broad spectrum of kill as F10®CL Veterinary Disinfectant but with added detergent to provide a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning and disinfection in routine hygiene applications. It is a soapy liquid with a slight pine fragrance and a green appearance.

Uses for F10®CLXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser

  • Safe and effective cleansing whilst reducing the microbial load.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of: floors; walls; tiles; kennels/cages; food and drink bowls; bedding; tables and basins
  • Due to the cleaning detergent contained in F10CLXD, any food bowls or instruments that are to come in close contact with animals should be washed with clean water to ensure no soap residue is left.
  • Once cleaned, spraying with F10SC or F10CL solution and allowing to air dry will ensure continued disinfection during storage.

Recommended dilution rates of F10®CLXD

The dilution rates mean that F10CLXD is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant/cleaners on the market.

  • General disinfection at 1:100 (10ml in 1 litre)
  • High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses at 1:50 (20ml to 1 litre)
  • For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:20 (50ml in 1 litre)

The F10SCXD and F10CLXD products are chemically the same but CLXD are 5 times more dilute than the SCXD (Super Concentrate). So 1 litre of CLXD is equivalent to 200ml of SCXD in terms of the amount of disinfection cleansing that it can do. Which should I choose? CLXD or SCXD?

Whichever you are more comfortable using, as the end result will be the same. Some feel the CLXD is better for them as you need to be less precise with the measuring (for general disinfection you would use 10ml in 1 litre of water, whereas you would only use 2ml of SCXD in 1 litre of water). Where as others prefer the smaller bottle of the SCXD.

F10SC

is a veterinary disinfectant which achieves a broad spectrum kill of potentially harmful micro-organisms. It is active against bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. It is an excellent product for achieving a high level of biosecurity effectively and safely as it poses no hazard to yourself and is completely safe to use in presence of animals when used at recommended concentrations.
What is F10SC used for? - F10SC is used for effective and safe general disinfection of all hard surfaces (such as tables, floors and cages), and for animal housekeeping procedures (such as the cleaning of food and water bowls and bedding). F10SC can be sprayed on and left to disinfect after cleaning.
The recommended dilution rates of F10SC - These dilution rates mean that F10 is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant ranges on the market.

General disinfection at 1:500 (2ml in 1 litre)

High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses at 1:250 (4ml to 1 litre)

For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:125 (8ml in 1 litre)

F10®SCXD

Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser has the same broad spectrum of kill as F10®SC Veterinary Disinfectant but with added detergent to provide a ‘one-step’ product for light duty cleaning and disinfection in routine hygiene applications. It is a soapy liquid with a slight pine fragrance and a green appearance.

Uses for F10®SCXD Veterinary Disinfectant/Cleanser

  • Safe and effective cleansing whilst reducing the microbial load.
  • Cleaning and disinfection of: floors; walls; tiles; kennels/cages; food and drink bowls; bedding; tables and basins
  • Due to the cleaning detergent contained in F10SCXD, any food bowls or instruments that are to come in close contact with animals should be washed with clean water to ensure no soap residue is left.
  • Once cleaned, spraying with F10SC solution and allowing to air dry will ensure continued disinfection during storage.

Recommended dilution rates of F10®SCXD

The high dilution rates mean that F10SCXD is one of the most cost-effective disinfectant/cleaners on the market.

  • General disinfection at 1:500 (2ml in 1 litre)
  • High level disinfection against bacteria, fungi and most viruses at 1:250 (4ml to 1 litre)
  • For use against the most resistant viruses such as Parvovirus or PBFD at 1:100 (10ml in 1 litre)

Where as others prefer the smaller bottle of the SCXD.

The F10 Antiseptic Solution

is a multi-purpose broad spectrum preparation effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores.
It can be used as a topical application to treat and help prevent re-infection in a variety of clinical situations.

  • Wound irrigation and treatment: Remove gross contamination as necessary. Prepare a 1:250 F10 Antiseptic Solution using normal saline and irrigate the wound site as required. Dressings can be soaked in the Antiseptic Solution and bandaged over the wound site. Abscesses may also be flushed out using a prepared 1:250 solution. Abraded or inaccessible areas not suitable for high volume flushing can be sprayed with the Antiseptic Solution and allowed to dry.
  • Large volume lavage: Where required a 1:500 solution can be used within the abdominal cavity as an antiseptic lavage in cases of sepsis, organ perforation or rupture or inadvertent leakage during surgery. Excess liquid should be removed before closure.
  • Respiratory conditions: Nebulise using a 1:250 F10 Antiseptic Solution made with distilled water for a period of 20-30 minutes once or twice daily for as long a period as determined by response to therapy. F10 Antiseptic Solution has not been shown to interfere with other medication concurrently delivered by nebulisation.
  • Sinus and nasal flushing: For the removal of accumulated mucous, inflammatory material and the control of infection. Use a 1:250 of F10 Antiseptic Solution made with normal saline. Restrain the animal with its head downwards to avoid aspiration and syringe the cavity as required.
  • Oral use: A 1:500 to 1:1000 solution of has been shown to be effective as a crop lavage for the treatment of yeast and bacterial infections. Administer by gavage tube.
  • Skin, scale and feather decontamination: Treat the patient by spraying, soaking or washing with a 1:250 F10 Antiseptic Solution or by placing it in a nebulising chamber until the body surface is thoroughly moistened. Leave to air dry.
Full body immersion in a 1:1000 solution has been shown to be effective at treating skin problems in some species of reptile and amphibians.

F919

is an alkaline heavy-duty cleanser with an emulsifying action for removing heavy soiling, protein, fat and natural oil deposits from hard surfaces. It also incorporates a wetting agent for effective coverage and a soil suspension agent to facilitate easy removal. This should be used on a weekly basis to remove ‘films’ harbouring a build-up of micro-organisms that detergent based cleaning products leave behind. F919SC can be safely applied as a wash, or by using a spray or high-pressure equipment, and its low foaming action also make it suitable for use in CIP systems or crate washes. It is effective in both hot and cold water, and is often used to replace hazardous caustic based products.

F10 Barrier Ointment

  • is a multi-purpose broad spectrum preparation effective against a wide range of bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores. The F10 actives are presented in an easily applied preparation containing lanolin and glycerine emollients. These help maintain and restore skin viability and help the ointment adhere to the skin surface to form an effective antimicrobial barrier. It is ideal as a topical application to treat and help prevent reinfection in a number of clinical situations either alone or in conjunction with associated therapies. The F10 Germicidal Barrier Ointment has been shown to maintain 100% residual action after 5 days.
Superficial skin lesions, burns and open or contaminated wounds: Where appropriate first clean and flush the lesion with F10 Antiseptic Solution. Germicidal Barrier Ointment can now be directly applied. The Barrier Ointment is effective in both superficial lesions and deep penetrating wounds. Defects can be packed with the Ointment or applied to wounds that are then covered by dressings.
Packing skin and scale defects: Defects in the body integument can be packed with Germicidal Barrier Ointment. The protective and antimicrobial actions assist in the regeneration of normal functional tissue and assist in preventing reinfection.
